Hakushika's Japanese Orchard Citrus Yuzu was inspired by one of the Japanese kitchen's most favorite citrus varieties: the yuzu. The yuzu (most accurately known as Citrus ichangensis X Citrus reticulata) has traditionally been prized in Japan for its mildly citric taste and incomparably fresh aroma. Hakushika's Citrus Yuzu is an exciting new type of natural flavor-infused sake and contains no added sulphites or gluten. Imported from Nishinomiya, Japan.

Food Pairing:

Excellent for matching with baked or grilled poultry seasoned with herbs and spices (rosemary, oregano, grill blends), fresh seafood (sashimi, seared tuna), and leafy green salads dressed in vinaigrette. Also a novel choice paired with fresh salsa or chocolate flavors.

Tasting Notes:

Zesty and aromatic with a bright character similar to winter-harvested grapefruit and delicately sweet mandarin orange, Hakushika's Citrus Yuzu has a pleasant acidity and subtle tartness.
